Sooooo, After 20 plus years of looking at the inside doors of my armoire, and always wondering what I could do to make them look a little bit nicer, I finally was inspired!!!
First, I sanded down the doors lightly with sand paper...
Second, I painted the inside panels a dark green,,the color matches the back splash in my kitchen.
Third, I ordered the 9 B's vinyl lettering online in bright gold and rubbed it on.
I must say, I love the way it turned out. It is prettier than I expected, and I wish I would have done it years ago. Now when our family watches T.V. we can feel motivated to be better.
GRADUATION TIME!!!!
WE HAD A GREAT BIG GRADUATION PARTY HERE LAST NIGHT AND I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE A FEW OF THE GOODIES I MADE.
I BOUGHT THESE CUTE CUPS AT THE DOLLAR STORE AND THEN DIPPED PRETZELS AND FILLED THE CUPS. I ADDED SOME FOIL TISSUE IN THERE SCHOOL COLORS. THE HIGH SCHOOL COLORS ARE BLUE AND SILVER.
THESE WERE A BIG HIT, AND SO EASY TO MAKE. JUST MELT WHITE CHOCOLATE AND SPRINKLE. PUT THEM IN THE FRIDGE TO SET.
THEY WERE GONE IN SECONDS.

I have been making it since the weather turned cold and you simply must try it.
1 1/3 cup milk
3 Tablespoons nutella
Pour milk in saucepan, or use your coco motion machine if you have one. Add the nutella. Heat to desired temperature. I add whip cream or mallows. Enjoy

Here is my latest find I wanted to share with you. I was in our local craft store to buy some material and stumbled upon these beautiful candle jewels. They had several different kinds, including a bird and other shapes, but I fell in love with this crown.
I'm sorry this picture is so bad, but you get the idea. Have these been around for a while and I just haven't noticed them?
They dress up any ordinary candle and make them look beautiful.
I love the look of this and it cost me only five dollars. You could go to the dollar store and get a cheap candle and add this jewel and it looks fantastic. It has too prongs in the back and you simply push them into the candle. ( The jewel hanging from the side of this candle is part of the wick)
