Candle Jewelry

 Here is my latest find I wanted to share with you.  I was in our local craft store to buy some material and stumbled upon these beautiful candle jewels.  They had several different kinds, including a bird and other shapes, but I fell in love with this crown.  

 I'm sorry this picture is so bad, but you get the idea.  Have these been around for a while and I just haven't noticed them?  

 They dress up any ordinary candle and make them look beautiful. 
I love the look of this and it cost me only five dollars.   You could go to the dollar store and get a cheap candle and add this jewel and it looks fantastic.  It has too prongs in the back and you simply push them into the candle. ( The jewel hanging from the side of this candle is part of the wick)                            

My New Addiction

Run Right Now to your closest Cost Plus World Market store and buy this jar of Biscoff spread.  You will never go back to peanut butter and you will be hooked forever like I am.  It is a delicious European alternative to peanut butter.  This sweet spread is excellent on toast, or in a sandwich with jam.  My favorite is on apples.   It has Cinnamon in it and the taste is to die for.  This 14 oz jar costs $4.99 and is worth every penny.  Take my word for it and see how addicted you become.  Enjoy!!!

Favorite Ornament

I know Christmas is over, but as I was taking down my tree, I decided to take some pictures of my favorite ornaments.   I actually think I will leave this one up somewhere in my house all year long.  What do you believe in for 2012?

Scotch and Soda Christmas

This is a fun and easy little gift for any neighbor or friend.  All you need is a small bottle of soda ( 12 oz sprite is pictured) and some scotch tape.  Add a pretty holiday ribbon and a tag that reads:

"Holidays can be stressful!  Sit down and have a Scotch and Soda!

It's a cute and inexpensive little gift for anyone on your Christmas list this year.  Enjoy!!!!

Christmas thin mint Snowman

Isn't this the cutest snowman? It makes a great gift and its soooo easy to make.


Step one:  Buy a box of thin mints.  They have them at the dollar store.


Step two:  Cover the box with white paper, and draw your snowman face.


Step Three:  Cut out a rectangle piece of red felt and fold it in half lengthwise. Hot glue gun the seam.  Glue the felt around the top of the box and add a small bow at the top of the felt hat.  Add a cute ribbon and tag.  


What a great way to dress up a package for the holidays.
